An intellectually strong team of well-educated attorneys is certainly indispensable for a law firm’s success, but even more important is how those attorneys feel themselves while working at that firm. Are they able to keep a work/social life balance? Do they see a future for themselves at that firm? Are they duly rewarded for their efforts? To put it bluntly, are they happy? In a law firm where these core questions cannot be answered affirmatively, long-term success can only be imagined, not realized.
At AKDOĞAN | USLAŞ, we strive for creating a work atmosphere where people feel as happy as possible. We know that work is only one aspect of life and thus we give our people the opportunity to be present in as many areas of life as possible.
In terms of career path, every new member joining AKDOĞAN | USLAŞ is not only an employee, but also a future partner provided that he/she proves his/her abilities and embraces the Firm Values. We, as jurists, dedicate utmost importance to what is called “equity” and we know that it is so scarce these days. We firmly believe that where most work very hard but only a few reap the benefits, there is no equity. Accordingly, at AKDOĞAN | USLAŞ, benefits are shared on a merit basis and being a partner is what should happen under normal circumstances, not an exception.
Neither your low GPA nor your fair foreign language skills is an impediment to your application for being considered because they have nothing to do with being a good lawyer. Nonetheless, a strong command of at least one foreign language would be a plus.
